Fargo and General Mansfield decide to try out a robotic sheriff named Andy. However, Andy seems to be unlucky enough to be targeted by random gravitational anomalies, and Carter finally decides to help out.
The two end up doing a job neither of them could have done alone, and Andy reinstates Carter as Sheriff of Eureka, saying that the twon ahs the best odds of survival with him as sheriff. At the end of the episode an alien object is detected, and is heading straight to Eureka.
